Well, I just wanted to send out a massive thank you to everyone who helped me realise this – being great sounding boards in the preparations, donating prizes, taking part in the contest, voting, spreading the word online and on the podwaves. Heaps of thanks! Without you, this would not have happened.
I hope to do this again in 2012, albeit with a few alterations – like not closing the contest so close to the holidays, and simplifying the rules (if that’s possible!)

Next in Goodies fandom…
Meanwhile, I do believe the next Goodies related event in Europe is “The Goodies And Some Untold Kapers” fan art exhibition in Bristol, Jan 26 – Feb 2, 2012 (closed Jan 29). The artist behind the ehibition is a certain Jenny Doyle, who you might recognise as one of our contest winners (decoration class). I believe help might still be needed – read all about it on the exhibition’s facebook page.
As luck would have it, the exhibition is open during the same weekend that the Slapstick Festival 2012 is on in Bristol, and this time around all three Goodies (and a bunch of other great comedy talents) will take part in the festival. So if you’re in Bristol for the Slapstick Festival, make sure you check out the art exhibition as well.
And I hope you’re a devout listener to the Goodies Podcast, and a member of GROK and The Saucy Gibbon. No? Well, it’s never too late to take more part in the fandom!

Cheers!
